Merry Christmas!

Hi there!

I don't have too many stencils. I bought a kit with 3 and they weren't working as I thought, so I didn't bought more. But I saw this one in an online shop and I don't know how... it went into my basket and then to my house... oooops! I used it to made the background on this card and... noooooooooo!! Now I need more stencils... lol! I did a lot of different techniques with the distress inks and, in the first picture, you can see some water splashes. There are also some splashes of clear glitter of Wink of Stella, that maybe you will see better in the second picture. Sorry for the bad illumination in the second picture, we don't have too many hours of light now in Denmark and it's almost impossible to take good pictures. I also painted the rabbit with similar colors and I used again the glitter brush of Wink of Stella on his scarf.

No tinc gaires plantilles. Vaig comprar un paquet en el que en venien tres i no m'estaven donant els resultats que esperava, així que no en vaig comprar més. Però vaig veure aquest en una botiga online i no sé com... va anar a parar a la meva cistella de compra i després a casa meva.... uuups! El vaig fer servir per fel el fons en aquesta postal i.... noooooo!!! Ara necessito més plantilles... hahahaha!! He fet un munt de tècniques diferents amb les tintes Distress i, a la primera foto, pots veure unes quantes esquitxades d'aigua. També hi han algunes esquitxades de purpurina transparent de Wink of Stella, que potser podràs veure millor a la segona foto. Sento la mala il·luminació de la segona foto, però no estem tenint moltes hores de llum ara a Dinamarca i és gairebé impossible fer bones fotos. També he pintat el conill amb colors semblants i he fet servir un altre cop el pinzell de purpurina de Wink of Stella a la seva bufanda.

Boys and Girls Christmas tags

Sometimes I really don't know what to buy for my mother for Christmas. She always says that she doesn't need anything but... how could I celebrate Christmas without a present for her? This year I decided to make some nice things she can use, like these little tags. I made 8, 2 of each kind. I love to combine stamps of my favorite brands and these tags make me smile. I traveled to Barcelona some days ago and I gave it to her, because this year I will be in Denmark for the holidays. So now she can use it to decorate her Christmas' presents.

A vegades realment no sé què regalar-li a la meva mare per Nadal. Sempre diu que no necessita res però... com podria celebrar el Nadal sense un regal per ella? Aquest any he decidit fer-li algunes coses maues que ella pugui fer servir per Nadal, com aquestes petites etiquetes. N'he fet 8, 2 de cada. M'encanta combinar segells de les meves marques preferides i aquestes postals em fan somriure. Vaig viatjar a Barcelona fa uns dies i li vaig donar, perquè aquest any estaré a Dinamarca per Nadal. Així que ara les pot fer servir per decorar els regals de Nadal.

Three little boxes

Hi there,

I made this three little boxes for my mother (well, in fact I made the silver one twice, one for my mother and another for a friend). Once again, I made them inspired by Sam from Pootles Papercraft, so HERE is the link to her video tutorial and HERE the link to this project's details. As always, I'm not doing exactly the same as her, because the products she uses don't ship to Denmark. But I'm doing my best with what I have and I'm really satisfied with the result. That's the point of crafting anyway,  right?

Instead of stamping the snowflakes in white ink as she does, I embossed them in three different colors, just for fun. I love these little boxes! They are perfect for little presents, so I made some more in regular cardstock. It's easier to make it with cardstock, because it's a little bit more difficult to fold the lines when using vellum. Anyway, I love both!

He fet aquestes tres caixes per la meva mare (bé, de fet la platejada l'he fet dues vegades, una per la meva mare i l'altre per una amiga). Un altre cop, m'he inspirat en la Sam de Pootles Papercrafts, així que AQUI tens el link al seu video tutorial i AQUI el link als detalls d'aquest projecte. Com sempre, no he fet exactament el mateix que ella, perquè no envien els productes que ella fa servir a Dinamarca. Però estic fent el millor que puc amb les coses que tinc i estic realment satisfeta amb el resultat. 

Enlloc d'estampar els floquets de neu amb tinta blanca com ella fa, els he gofrat en tres colors diferents (només per divertir-me). M'encanten aquestes caixetes! Son perfectes per petits regals, així que he fet algunes més en cartulina. És molt més fàcil de fer amb cartulina, perquè és una mica difícil doblar les línies amb el paper de ceba. De totes maneres, m'encanten les dues!

Elegant "merry christmas" card

I made this elegant Christmas card. I don't remember where I bought the patterned paper... I thing it was part of a kit to make something in 3D that I didn't like, but I like the paper and I though that I would use it in other projects instead of the one that it was originally intended for. Normally I don't think in the color black when I'm making Christmas cards, so this one was a challenge for me. And I'm happy with the result. The snowflake and the letters are embossed in white. I don't have any white ink that I really like, so normally I prefer to emboss when using white. The supply list is at the end. Hope you like it and get inspired. Have fun!

No recordo on vaig comprar el paper estampat... em sembla que formava part d'un kit per fer alguna cosa en 3D que no em va agradar, però sí el paper i vaig pensar que el faria servir en altres projectes enlloc del que estava pensat per fer-se. Normalment no penso en el color negre quan estic fent postals de Nadal, així que aquesta ha sigut un repte per mi. I estic contenta amb el resultat. El floquet de neu i les lletres estan fetes amb pols de gofrat blanc. It seems that everybody started making Christmas cards.... and so do I!

I made this card inspired in THIS die set that I don't have (snif...). I always feel that I don't have enough stamps, dies, card stock, pens, inks... don't you? But, as money don't grow in threes (or don't grow in my threes) sometimes I need to improvise with what I have (my mother would say that I have enough, for sure... xD). So this is the final result! Christmas bag for my father

Winter is coming! And Christmas too! As I told you in this entry, I love all the projects of Sam from Pootles Papercrafts. I made this bag just following her video tutorial instructions and it was so easy to do. As I don't have the same stamps that she used, I made it with some similar that I have. Instead of using white ink I decided to use white embossing power. I also stamped a message in Catalan (my mother tongue) because inside the bag there is a present for my father. Hope he like it!

You mean the world to me

One thing I really like is to color images with my Spectrum Noir markers. I have all the colors, because I have the best boyfriend in the world (or maybe I should say that I have a boyfriend addicted to find sales on the internet.... hahahahaha). The image in this card is a digital stamp that I bought in Make it crafty. If you don't know their website, take a look at it, they have lots of digital stamps for all the occasions. One thing that I like about a digital stamp is that I don't have to pay for the shipping, just the stamp. You can download immediately and print it in different sizes.

Una cosa que realment m'agrada es colorejar dibuixos amb els meus retoladors Spectrum Noir. Tinc tots els colors perquè tinc el millor xicot del món (o potser hauria de dir que tinc un xicot adicte a buscar ofertes per internet.... hahahahaha). El dibuix d'aquesta postal és una imatge digital que vaig comprar a Make it crafty. Si no coneixes la seva pàgina web, dóna-li un cop d'ull, tenen una pila de segells digitals per a totes les ocasions. Una cosa que m'agrada de les imatges digitals és que no haig de pagar pel transport, només pel segell. El pots descarregar inmediatament e imprimir-lo en diferents mides.

Thanks tag for a friend

Hi there!

I made this little tag to decorate a friend's present. I love this die from Lawn Fawn because it's very easy to make nice tags with it. You just have to fold a piece of card stock and place the die so it doesn't cut the folded edge; put it in your die cut machine and it's done! Or half way done... now you can decorate it as you like. So easy! I glued some strawberries outside and one inside with a "thanks" embossed in gold color. I also punched a little hole in the top and put on some backer's twine. Vaig fer aquesta petita etiqueta per decorar el regal d'una amiga. M'encanta aquest die de Lawn Fawn, perquè és molt fàcil fer etiquetes amb ell. Només has de doblegar una cartulina i posar el die sobresortint una mica de manera que no tallis el plec; la poses a la teva màquina de tallar i ja tens la tarjeta feta! O mig feta... només et falta decorar-la com vulguis. Molt fàcil! Li vaig enganxar unes maduixes a fora i una a dintre amb un "thanks" embossat en color daurat. I only have eyes for you

I know that I didn't post anything last week but I was studying for my Danish exam (and I passed it! I'm really happy!). I made this card and had so much fun. I decided that I want to make a couple with the monster stamp so, for the girl, I stamped a ribbon in her hair and I colored some freckles in her cheeks, hahaha. For the boy I inked it by covering the eye and the mouth with some washi tape. Then I inked only the eye and stamped it upside down and towards the right side, so he is looking at the monster girl. Ja sé que no vaig postejar res la setmana passada però vaig estar estudiant pel meu examen de danès (i el vaig aprovar! Estic molt contenta!). Vaig fer aquesta postal i m'ho vaig passar molt bé. I love you card + cookie

A few days ago I made this card, just for fun. Isabel from Montsucre, a friend of mine who loves to bake cakes and cookies, saw it and asked me to reproduce it in a cookie. Of course I said yes, and here you can see the result: the picture on the left is my card and the picture on the right is a composition I made with the picture she sent me of her cookie... lol! As she lives in Catalonia and I live in Denmark, it's impossible for us to make a picture of the cookie and the card together, so I decided to edit my picture with Photoshop and put hers in the same place... lol! I made this card yesterday combining some old Lawn Fawn stamps with the new ones. I love how easy it is. I have stamps from other brands (yes, I do! lol) and it's sometimes difficult (or impossible) to combine one set with another. But with Lawn Fawn's stamps I can do it, creating a lot of different scenes. I love it! It makes me smile that these rabbits come from a set called "Snow Day", because I used them to recreate a scene in the beach. I don't know where they are, but I'm sure they aren't in a Danish beach (now we have 17ºC!). I think the little rabbit girl it's enjoying it very much, don't you? Hahahaha. Vaig fer aquesta postal ahir combinant alguns antics segells de Lawn Fawn amb els nous. M'encanta com n'és de fàcil! Oh my God! Lawn Fawn city it's in danger!! What should we do? But, wait a minute! Who's that guy? Batman? Superman? A plane? Nooooo, is Owlboy! He is going to save us! In fact, he just caught an alien... No worries, Lawn Fawn city will be safe. Thanks Owlboy, you are my hero!

I also made this 3x3-inch boxes for three friends using the same papers (and their favorite colors), inspired by Sam's video tutorial. I bought three Danish souvenir magnets for my friends and I putted them into the boxes. I think they are very nice for little presents. Hope you like them and get inspired. Have fun!

Monsters card and tag

The first time I saw the new Lawn Fawn's stamp set, Monster Mash, I deeply fell in love with it. I was waiting like a little child to buy it and, when my order arrived home, I was as happy as if it was Christmas. Yay! Look at them, they are fantastic! I have hundreds of ideas on my mind to make a lot of funny cards or other stuffs. I made this one yesterday and I had too much fun. La primera vegada que vaig veure el nou set de Lawn Fawn, Monster Mash, em vaig enamorar profundament d'ell. Vaig estar esperant com una nena petita per comprar-lo i quan la meva comanda va arribar a casa estaba tan feliç com si fos Nadal. Visca! Mira'ls, son fantàstics! Tinc centenars d'idees en ment per fer divertides postals o altres coses. Vaig fer aquesta ahir i m'ho vaig passar molt bé. For some of my friends and family I made these boxes (and filled them with oats cookies, also made by me). If you don't know Sam from Pootles Papercraft, just visit her blog or her Youtube channel, it's full of amazing tutorials to create lots of different boxes and other stuff. She is an independent demonstrator of Stampin' Up! As I can't buy things from them, because they don't ship to Denmark, I'm using other tools to made the boxes. Enjoying the summer holidays? Here in Denmark summer is over and we are enjoying some rainy days now. I made this card just for fun, with some stuff from Lawn Fawn and a digital image. They match perfectly, don't you think? Below the card picture there is another of my boyfriend and my three little dogs walking on a Danish beach this Saturday. Look at him! Cat girl

I decorated this frame for Helena, the daughter of one of my Galician friends. Helena is a little girl who loves pink, so she asked her mum (my friend, Gabriela) to paint her bedroom in pink. Helena loves cats and they have one named Arwen. I thought that this would be a perfect decoration for her bedroom. I also made up a little story about some "cat girls" and I explained it to her while she seemed to listen very interested. How sweet! Then, a few days later, Gabriela sent me a picture of the frame in the wall of Helena's bedroom. Thanks Gabriela, that means a lot to me. Big hug! The supply list is at the end. Vaig decorar aquest marc per l'Helena, la filla d'una de les meves amigues de Galicia. L'Helena és una petita nena a qui li agrada el rosa, fins i tot li va demanar a la seva mare (la meva amiga, Gabriela) si li podia pintar la seva habitació de color rosa. També li encanten els gats i en té una, Arwen. Vaig pensar que seria una decoració perfecta per la seva habitació. També em vaig inventar una petita història sobre unes "nenes gat" i li vaig explicar mentres ella m'escoltava molt interessada. Què dolça! Door hanger for baby Angel

A few days ago I told you about a friend who came to visit, Margarita. I made quite a lot of stuff for her (I will show it to you in other entries). Last December her first grandson (Angel) was born and I made this door hanger for him. Isn't it cute? I love it! Angel's parents can hang it on his bedroom door and rotate it depending if he is sleeping or not. My name is Sandra and I'm a 37 years old girl from Sabadell (Barcelona). I'm living in Copenhagen since 2012 with my partner, Ernesto, and my three little dogs (yes, three, lol!): Homer, Lisa and Han Solo (yes, their names are from the Simpsons and Star Wars.... haha!).

Recently I realized I'm doing a lot of paper craft projects, for my family and friends (and for me, just for fun!) and I would like to share them with you too. I was considering writing the blog in English and Catalan, but I didn't decide it yet, so for the time being you have the Google translation button on the right. Anyway, if you would like to leave a comment, you can do it in English, Catalan or Spanish (or Danish, but I'm not good enough!).

Today I would like to show you a... door hanger? It's hanging in one of the lamps of my study so... a lamp hanger? I decorated only one side because I didn't think I would rotate it as a door hanger. Hope you like it!

Supplies:
I used the Sizzix Labels & Stitched Frames to cut a piece of cardboard. The squared paper is from the 6x6 paper pad Sweet Day from Echo Park. I cut 2 times the word "hello" in another piece of cardboard using the Scripty Hello die and I glued it all together behind the brown "hello" cardstock. I also used the Spring Showers die, the hearts from Stitched Journaling Card (covered with Glossy Accents) and the Lemon trimming from Lawn Fawn.
